Electric Bikes/Trikes Online Orders:
- Returns are eligible within 3 days of purchase, at Big Bam Bike’s discretion.
- We only accept returns of electric bikes that have not been used, that are still new, with no dirt or scratches, and in the original package and condition it was received.
- The box must not be opened (still sealed as received).
- The customer pays for the return shipping (up to $300 depending on location), and the cost is deducted from the refund (unless you pay for it directly at a shipping service).
- You must have written approval from Big Bam Bikes to return an electric bike to us, otherwise, we cannot issue a refund.
Exception: we will accept a return on an ebike, if it is determined that it has a factory defect. A defective ebike is defined as one that has a major component not working properly, and that cannot be fixed without significant effort of time and expense. Once the ebike is shipped back to our store (shipping costs paid by buyer), we will determine if, in fact, the problem with the ebike is a factory defect. If it is, we will refund the full price (within 10 days of purchase), or exchange it, and cover the shipping.
To return an item that you consider to be defective from the factory, please contact us first to let us know by emailing us at email@example.com and we will contact you to tell you what the next steps are. You will be responsible for paying for shipping costs to return the item. Once we receive it with the original complete packaging and receipt (packaged in the same way it was when the item was received), if we determine that the item is defective from the factory, we will refund your purchase and shipping costs.
Electric Bikes Returns (Purchased in our Store)
All in-store purchases (except sale items and especially-ordered parts) are eligible for return within 3 days of purchase, for an exchange or refund, at Big Bam Bike’s discretion. Returns must be brought back to our store in new condition, and include complete original packaging and receipt.
Big Bam Bikes honors all of our manufacturers warranties. Any warranty claim made within the manufacturer’s warranty time frame, will not incur labor or shipping charges if the issue is a defect in the ebike (within the warranty parameters). Some manufacturers do not cover labor expenses, so please read the manufacturer’s warranty carefully before you purchase an ebike from us.
