My neighbor in our senior community purchased her e-bike elsewhere. She had shifting problems and had Big Bam bikes try to repair it. They couldn’t but agreed to package it and ship it back to the manufacturer AND gave her a new replacement bike under warranty. This is exemplary service from both a merchant and a manufacturer. We rented 3 bikes and were delighted with the product and the service--the bikes were ready, the orientation was thorough, and the directions were flawless. Gave a trail map and suggested best routes. An electrical problem developed with one bike and they offered to come out with a replacement and removed the charge for the bike. Had the pleasure or renting bikes from BAM for the day with my wife while in Venice visiting family. It was our first time on ebikes and we had a blast. This business executes perfectly! The three employees we encountered were professional, warm, gracious and inviting. The young woman who gave us our tutorial and send-off was one of the most pleasant people I've ever dealt with. I am not sure if she is the owner or not, but if not, the fact that I was even wondering tells you the quality of the staff. The entire experience was amazing, right up to the return of the bikes and the young man who asked if everything went well and we were happy with our experience. As a business owner myself, it excites me when I find a small business run as well as BAM. I was particularly impressed with the help and pleasant advice I received from Ken at the shop. Ken was understanding, professional, and gave us the distinct impression that he cared about us and our business. It is rare to find an employee with his attributes, and management should consider itself very lucky to have him as a member of the staff.
