Additional Technical Notes
The Aventure M ships as a Class 1 ebike with pedal assist only. An Aventon throttle can be purchased separately and installed to convert the bike into a Class 2 ebike. The bike can also be configured for Class 3 riding depending on local regulations and rider preference.
Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX6-rated standard. An IPX6 rating means the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle, providing strong water resistance for riding in heavy rain, puddles, and muddy conditions. However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof. Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion, and pressure washers or high-pressure sprayers should not be used because they can damage sensitive components.
